The Watertown Garden Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to educate and enrich its members through lectures, workshops and tours, with the objective of encouraging beautification and conservation of plant and wildlife. Annual events include a spring plant sale, a member-hosted garden luncheon, a holiday luncheon at a local venue, two fund-raisers and a pre-holiday gathering to create wreaths for the town's municipal buildings.

Each member participates in the planting and the caring for flower planters and gardens throughout the business section of town. Members of The Watertown Garden Club also enjoy the benefits of belonging to the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut, Inc. and the New England Garden Clubs, which offer a wealth of information and opportunities for special events and tours throughout the State - and beyond.
